Bajaj Pulsar 200NS To Be Updated Prior To June 2016
The Pulsar 200NS will be updated by Bajaj Auto prior to June 2016. Bajaj engineers will provide a new engine and design to their Pulsar 200NS. The motorcycle was launched in India during 2012, unfortunately, production was halted of Pulsar 200NS as they had to accommodate the manufacture of newer models.
Powering 2016 Pulsar 200NS will be the same engine that does duty in the Pulsar RS200. Bajaj will offer a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection and triple spark technology. The engine produces 24.15bhp, along with 18.6Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
In terms of design, Pulsar 200NS will maintain its overall design. Bajaj designers will tweak a few aspects of the motorcycle providing a mild cosmetic change. 2016 Pulsar 200NS will also receive new paint schemes and dual tone colour options.
Expect the new and updated Pulsar 200NS to be priced higher than the existing Pulsar AS200. Bajaj's Pulsar RS200 model will be their flagship offering and the Pulsar 200NS will be slotted just below it. Currently, the Pulsar 200NS costs Rs. 91,553 ex-showroom (Delhi).
Bajaj Auto will not be participating in 2016 Auto Expo which will be held in Delhi during February. We will not be able to see what the manufacturer has in store for the Indian market. Bajaj Auto will be launching several new vehicles in India as well as other markets during 2016.
