Aprilia, Vespa & Moto Guzzi Motorcycles At India Bike Week
The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer had a strong and impressive line-up of motorcycles at India Bike Week this year. 2015 edition of the bike festival witnessed more crowd and motorcycles than ever before. This year Piaggio brought to Goa three of its brands to the festival for its fans and enthusiasts.
At the third edition of India Bike Week, Piaggio brought Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa two-wheelers. They had an array of products on display and everyone could touch and feel their offerings.
Vespa S At 2015 India Bike Week
The Vespa S 125 makes its presence felt at 2015 India Bike Week. It may have been a scooter, however, it is a piece of art and attracts everyone. The Italian manufacturer of scooters custom-fitted a large wind-deflector and chequered stickers on the sides. It is powered by a 125cc engine, which produces 10 bhp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. It also sports disc brakes in the front, while rear gets drum brakes.
Vespa GTS Super At 2015 India Bike Week
Standing proud in the stall was an all red GTS Super by Vespa. It is powered by a single-cylinder 278cc Quasar engine. The scooter produces 21.1 horsepower, along with 22.3 Nm of peak torque. It gets disc brakes both in front and rear, along with the safety of ABS.
Vespa GTS 300 ie At 2015 India Bike Week
The Vespa GTS 300 ie Super was also present at 2015 India Bike Week. This scooter is powered by a single-cylinder 278cc quasar engine. It produces 21 horsepower and 16 Nm of peak torque and has a top speed of 128.75 km/h.
Moto Guzzi V7 Racer At 2015 India Bike Week
The exquisite looking Moto Guzzi V7 racer was also present at India Bike Week. This motorcycle has a 90 degree, 744cc V-twin engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It generates 50 horsepower and 58 Nm of peak torque, the motorcycle weighs only 179 kilograms.
Moto Guzzi Grisso 8V SE At 2015 India Bike Week
Piaggio also showcased its Grisso 8V SE by Moto Guzzi. The motorcycle is powered by a V 90 twin, 1,151cc engine. It generates in excess of 110 horsepower and 108.47 Nm of peak torque.
Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring At 2015 India Bike Week
Moto Guzzi also displayed their ultimate touring motorcycle at 2015 India Bike Week. This tourer is powered by a 90 degree, 1380cc V-twin engine with double ignition. It is tuned to produce 96 horsepower and 120 Nm of peak torque output.
Aprilia Caponord Rally At 2015 India Bike Week
Aprilia on the other hand showcased its adventure motorcycle called Caponord Rally 1200. It is powered by a 90 degree, 1197cc V-twin engine and is tuned to produce 125 horsepower, along with 114.8 Nm of peak torque.
Aprilia Shiver 750 At 2015 India Bike Week
The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer also showcased its naked motorcycle called Shiver 750. Aprilia has provided a 90 degree, 749.9cc V-twin engine. It produces 95 horsepower, along with 81 Nm of peak torque. It boasts of an advanced suspension system and brakes used in racing.
Aprilia RSV4 At 2015 India Bike Week
The main attraction at Piaggio stall was Aprilia's RSV4 in a matte black finish. This superbike is powered by a 65 degree longitudinal, 999.6cc V4 engine with double overhead camshaft. It generates 184 horsepower, along with 117 Nm of peak torque.
