2015 MotoGP Suzuki Ecstar Livery Unveiled By Espargaro & Vinales
The 2015 MotoGP Championship will begin soon, however, teams are now rushing to unveil their new livery. Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki will be making a return to the competition. They will be partnering with Ecstar , who is their genuine oil and chemical partner.
Suzuki team will now be known as ‘Team Suzuki Ecstar'. Their motorcycles will be ridden by two Spaniards. Aleix Espargaro has been the top CRT rider in MotoGP from the moment this category was created. He has won the top CRT rider championship with Aspar and Yamaha.
Espargaro will be joined by MotoGP rookie Maverick Vinales, who is known as a quick learner. He has been the best rider in Moto2 category and has also won the Moto3 Championship. Suzuki has shown great faith in a rookie rider for their re-entry into MotoGP.
Team Suzuki Ecstar has named their 2015 motorcycle as the GSX-RR. It is powered by an inline four cylinder, water-cooled 1000cc engine. This engine has been tuned to produce 226.77 horsepower and can attain a top speed of 330 km/h. The Japanese engineers have mated their engine to a 6-speed gearbox.
At the recent pre-season testing Suzuki has shown tremendous potential. They still lack top speed against other teams. Overall the riders Espargaro and Vinales are happy with the package and believe they will be among the top runners.
There will be a final test before the season opener in Qatar. The Qatar GP will be held on 29th March, 2015. It will be interesting to see, who comes out as the winner at the season opener. Yamaha and Honda seem to maintain their lead, however, Ducati and Suzuki could create some upsets.
