Lorenzo & Rossi Set Constant Lap Records To Achieve Pole Position

By Ajinkya

Jorge Lorenzo dominated all of practice session and has taken pole position in a well-fought dog fight with Valentino Rossi. Yamaha riders shattered the pole position record with a 1:43.790 lap time.

Marc Marquez struggled with his injured left hand and could not compress the clutch efficiently. Surprisingly the Spaniard secured the third position at Honda Racing Corporation's home race.

Yamaha Movistar riders will fight intensively for race win tomorrow. Valentino Rossi would like to increase his Championship lead over Jorge Lorenzo. The duo is expected to put on an amazing show at 2015 Japanese GP.

Factory Ducati team performed exceptionally well for Japanese GP qualifying. Andrea Dovizioso secured fourth while teammate Andrea Iannone took fifth place and look menacing for tomorrow's race.

Dani Pedrosa seemed to struggle onboard his Repsol Honda and could only manage sixth fastest lap time. Ecstar Suzuki Team secured 7th and 10th with Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales respectively.

Both Lorenzo and Rossi are the only riders to register lap times in the one-minute 43-second bracket. The Yamaha riders are in a league of their own at Japanese GP and tomorrow's race could have some fireworks and sparks between riders.

Tomorrow's MotoGP round will be held at 10:30 am on Ten Sports exclusively in India. Currently, Valentino Rossi has a 14 point lead over Jorge Lorenzo, which is not huge and only four races remain in 2015 MotoGP Championship.
