Bajaj Pulsar 400SS Expected In 2014
Pulsar 400SS will be the biggest and most powerful offering from an Indian manufacturer. Bajaj plans to target the bike to riding enthusiasts and provide an affordable big bike experience. Don't expect the 400SS to be as powerful as 390 Duke. Expect this bike to launch in the second half of the year.
Hyosung GD 250N Expected In 2014
Hyosung already has two offerings in the 250cc segment however, this will be their first single cylinder machine. The bike has a very unlike Hyosung styling and should do good in the Indian market. Provided the Korean company can price the bike right. This bike is expected within this year.
Mahindra Mojo Finally Launching
Mahindra has delayed the Mojo to great extent however, they now have an updated version of the bike and it looks better. The bike will feature a 300cc mill and will sport dual exhausts. Mahindra has developed this bike using their MotoGP know abouts. Expect the Indian manufacturer to start sales in the latter half of the year.
Harley Street 500 Launching Soon
If you thought the street 750 had an attractive price tag, wait a little longer as the American cruiser will soon launch a 500cc version. This bike will be made in India thus, lowering cost of production. It will be a direct threat to Royal Enfield and could sway buyers in at the last moment. Expect fit and finish to be top notch and launched later this year.
KTM RC390 Launching Soon
Last but certainly not the least is KTM RC390, this bike will surely cause a ruckus. The Austrian manufacturer will be using the same 390 Duke engine. However, it will feature chassis upgrades and will be sportier than anything available in the Indian market. We expect this bike to launch at the end of this year.
