Suzuki Reveals Its Gixxer Price & Spec

Japanese automobile giant Suzuki has not been doing exceptionally well with its motorcycles in India. They have recently launched its scooter the Let's, along with a price reduction of its quarter-litre offering the Inazuma.

Suzuki India had showcased its modern 150cc motorcycle the Gixxer, prior to the 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi. They have since then delayed the launch of its motorcycle for a while now and was expected earlier.

The Gixxer has still not launched, however, Suzuki has opened bookings of its motorcycle. The Japanese automobile giant has revealed the price of its Gixxer prior to launch. The heavily sculpted motorcycle by Suzuki is priced at INR 84,344 OTR Mumbai.

Suzuki has confirmed the specs of its Gixxer motorcycle. It will sport a single cylinder, air cooled 154.9cc 4-stroke engine. The engineers have tuned the machine to produce 14 Nm of peak torque, along with 14.59 horsepower.

The Japanese automobile giant will not offer fuel injection and the Gixxer will get a carburetor fuel system. The engine will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Suzuki will provide braking force in the form of disc brakes upfront, along with drum brakes for the rear.

The Gixxer will be offered in five exciting colours. There will be two metallic paint schemes in the form of Metallic Oort Grey and Metallic Triton Blue. The remaining three are Candy Antares Red, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage White.
