Ducati Scrambler Production Begins!
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, has started manufacturing one of their most awaited motorcycles, the Scrambler.
In just six months time since the project was presented to Ducati employees, the motorcycle production has begun.
The Scrambler is a very important model for the company since it is the first scrambler after the company stopped manufacturing scramblers 40 years ago.
The first motorcycle that rolled out of the production line of the new scrambler was welcomed by Claudio Domenicali, the CEO of Ducati Motor Holding and Silvano Fini, the Manager of the Borgo Panigale plant.
Domenicali says, "This first bike is particularly meaningful to us. With its ‘Land of Joy' theme, the Ducati Scrambler brand will be bringing a breath of fresh air and fun to dealerships and will provide a great product that combines modernity with heritage in a way never before seen in the motorcycle industry, a fact that fills us with enormous satisfaction and pride."
Ducati say, "Celebrating the production launch of a new bike with employees is a consolidated tradition at Ducati: but with the Ducati Scrambler the event has an even deeper meaning as it fully reflects that "Land of Joy" spirit which characterizes the new brand."
For 2015, the Ducati Scrambler will be available in four versions: Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic.
The motorcycle will be available in UK dealerships early next year.
