MotoGP Round 3 Argentina Race Result
The youngest championship winner in MotoGP, Marc Marquez, created another record at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo in the Argentine Grand Prix. The Spaniard is the only rider after Italian Giacomo Agostini to win the first three races of a championship from pole position.
The new track in Argentina posted a problem for most riders as no one had tested there before.

The race began with a blistering start from Jorge Lorenzo, who jumped into the lead and saw Marc Marquez slip down to seventh position, his worst start so far. Pramac Ducati rider Andrea Iannone rode well and kept fighting for a podium finish - we will see him soon on the podium.
A couple of mistakes by Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa saw the youngest World Champion overtaking them and toying with Jorge Lorenzo. The Repsol Honda rider sat comfortably behind Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo, waited till he found it comfortable to overtake him and soon created a huge gap between them.

Valentino Rossi looked in good touch, however, aggressive overtaking by LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl pushed him off track and had to fight back with the top riders. He managed to recover places and finished the race in fourth place.
Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa showed his machine's prowess by overtaking Jorge Lorenzo with ease on the penultimate lap. The Yamaha of Lorenzo did not stand a chance and secured third place. Repsol Honda duo Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa finished first and second. Movistar Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi finished in third and fourth positions respectively.

The upcoming race will be a home race for most riders as they will race at the Jerez circuit in Spain. The race is scheduled for 4th of May and it will be great to see if anyone can stop 21-year-old Marc Marquez from dominating the race.
