MotoGP Qatar Final Pre Season Test 2014
The final session of 2014 pre season test has ended in Qatar and from what we know, its going to be an interesting season ahead.
The season will see more competition and new faces on the podium. Don't be surprised if you find any of the open class contenders on the podium.
The final day of testing has concluded at Qatar this Sunday and to know surprise, Espargaro brothers finished first and second on their Yamaha's. Aleix rides with NGM Forward Racing while younger brother Pol is with Tech3 Yamaha.
Under strange circumstances Pol Espargaro had a terrible accident just before the session could end. He broke his collarbone and will be returning to his hometown for surgery. Doctors presume he should be fit before the season opener at Qatar however, pre race examination will determine his MotoGP debut.
Nicky Hayden still struggled and was not satisfied with straight line speed of his Honda production racer. He states that the Honda package is good however, there is a noticeable difference in long straights.
Stefan Bradl finished the day by posting the fourth fastest time, even after having two horrific accident. He however, was lucky not to suffer any major injuries.
Bautista and Redding had good race simulations and believe they have good race pace. They both however, had issues with rear tyre grip. Which they will try to improve in free practice in two weeks time at Qatar under floodligts.
So get ready for an action packed, nail biting MotoGP season ahead!
