Apart from their own team, Mahindra is supplying these 250cc race bikes to other teams like San Carlo Team Italia, Team CIP and Ambrogio Racing.
For the next season, Team Aspar, which is owned by Jorge Martinez, a former champion will be using bikes made by Mahindra.
SP Shukla, Chairman of Mahindra racing said that three years ago, they showed how good the products from Mahindra were with their own team. Now, other teams have started using Mahindra bikes as well. This shows the growth Mahindra has had, he says.
The Chairman further added saying that Mahindra will provide products, customer support and technical help as they thought it was a better option.
Team Mahindra Racing first took part in the FIM MotoGP in 2011 and then the Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship in 2012.
In 2013, during the Malaysian Grand Prix, Team Mahindra's rider Oliveira had earned the team's first podium finish. Team Mahindra also recorded a few top five finishes in 10 of the 17 rounds last season.
