Mahindra Racing Join Hands With MAPFRE Aspar In Moto3 For 2015 C'ship
Every motorcycle manufacturer has to prove their prowess in competition. Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Mahindra has had another successful year in Moto3. They are the youngest manufacturer to provide machinery to several other satellite teams.
Jorge Martinez who runs his own team under the banner of Aspar has pointed out that Mahindra have the potential and desire to make a race winning motorcycle. He has confirmed that MAPFRE Aspar Team will be powered by Mahindra equipment and will run as a factory outfit.
Jorge Martinez A.K.A. expressed, "All our riders have commented that it has a very complete chassis. They liked it a lot in all its aspects: When entering corners, braking, accelerating and also in terms of stability. On the other hand, the engine is increasingly competitive and is already adapting to the regulations for next year, when there will be a 13,500rpm rev limit. The Mahindra is showing high potential."
He further added, "It is still too early to talk, but what I can assure you right now is that things are going the right way. Although some work remains, we are very happy and excited."
Their rider lineup for 2015 Moto3 championship will be Juanfran and Pecco. They are well experienced and know the bike well too. Aspar MAPFRE Team and Mahindra will join together to be more competitive next year. Winning the title is too early to comment on, however, we could see the Indian manufacturer fighting for the podium finishes more often.
