Indian automobile manufacturer is a relatively new entrant into the two wheeler segment. Mahindra Two Wheelers had showcased several new and interesting products at the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi. They had confirmed there will be several new products launched by them.
In the previous year, Mahindra Two Wheelers had launched its feature-rich commuter motorcycle, the Centuro. Since then, they have introduced several variations of the motorcycle. The Indian manufacturer has launched an N1 model and now a Rockstar edition.
Mahindra has maintained their affordable nature of its Centuro motorcycle. The Indian manufacturer has priced its Centuro Rockstar edition at INR 43,684 ex-showroom, Delhi. The motorcycle now will attract a larger audience who prefer the smaller capacity engines.
The Indian automobile manufacturer has provided its Centuro Rockstar with a 107cc air-cooled MicroChip-ignited 5 curve engine(MCi-5). The carbureted engine produces 8.5 Nm of peak torque. It delivers excellent fuel efficiency figures of 85.4 kpl according to ARAI.
The new Rockstar Centuro sports sports bold decals across the motorcycle. It sports a black paint scheme with fiery red stripes, along with golden stars. It gets LED brake lights improving safety during night rides.
Mahindra also provide a flip key which, was is available for cars. The Centuro Rockstar edition gets handle mounted choke, electric start and pass lights for overtaking. The manufacturer has also provided sparkling alloy wheels.
Mahindra Two Wheelers now has three variants in its Centuro range of motorcycles. All of them sport the same engine with slight cosmetic and feature differences. Surprisingly the new Centuro Rockstar is their most affordable offering.
