Indian Motorcycles Inaugurate First Dealership In Gurgaon
On the 7th of May, 2014, Indian Motorcycles inaugurated its first dealership in Gurgaon, India. Polaris is the owner of the Indian Motorcycles subsidiary. The showroom is situated in the heart of the city at B-10, Infocity, Sector 34.
The showroom will adhere to global standards of the Iconic Indian Motorcycles brand. They vow to provide exceptional service and after-sales support, to provide a premium feel to Indian Motorcycle owners.
The American motorcycle manufacturer plans to open two more showrooms within the end of 2014. The current showroom in Gurgaon can display nine Indian Motorcycles at a time.

Present at the event was Bennett J. Morgan, Global Chief Operating Officer, Polaris Industries Inc."With a showroom design inspired by the original home of the Indian Motorcycle in Springfield, Massachusetts, dealers and consumers will experience the brand as never before."
He also said,"Motorcycles, apparel, and accessories will be displayed in a retail environment that is both premium and approachable. It will become a destination for riders and they will want to spend time interacting with the brand as well as the store."

Polaris acquired Indian Motorcycle in April, 2011. They revealed their first range of motorcycles in USA in August, 2013. Polaris has committed that it will provide the iconic brand with sufficient resources, time and importantly, a passion to drive the company forward.
Also present at the event was Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. who commented,"The very first showroom to display and retail the legendary Indian Motorcycle holds great importance for us. It is the first interface where we are giving an opportunity to biking enthusiasts to own a slice of history with a contemporary twist."

He further added,"The start of the Indian Motorcycle's dealer network in India reinforces the company's serious commitment towards growing its footprint in the country and reaching out to Indian Motorcycle fans. This year we intend to open two dealerships in India."
