Honda Unveils Its 2015 CB125F Commuter Motorcycle
Honda Motorcycles has a strong presence globally, they are known for their high end as well as modest offerings. At the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi, the Japanese manufacturer showcased several new and interesting motorcycles and scooters.
The commuter segment all around is growing, more and more people are opting for affordable vehicles. Honda has now unveiled their CB125F, which will go on sale in 2015 in Europe first. They showcased this commuter bike at Motorcycle Live.
Honda CB125F is a naked bike and draws inspiration from India's CB Trigger model. It will join the CB range with CB300F and CB500F models in Europe. The Japanese manufacturer has redesigned their commuter motorcycle for a more modern appeal.
The motorcycle will be powered by an all new 124.7 cc single cylinder engine. It will be capable of generating 10.5 horsepower, along with 11.35 Nm of peak torque. Honda has reduced the power output for better fuel efficiency of 42.69 km/l, which owners in this segment are looking for.
Honda is also providing its new and improved CB125F with a revised chassis and a balancer shaft that reduces vibration. The commuter motorcycle will ride on 18-inch 6-spoke wheels. The Japanese engineers claim to have improved throttle response and acceleration.
Honda has only unveiled the CB125F the pricing will be revealed at a date closer to launch. The Japanese manufacturer explains its 2015 motorcycle will be offered in black, red, white and yellow. It is unclear if the CB125F will be launched in India or not.
