Honda Motorcycle And Scooter Sells 15 Million Units
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), one of India's fastest growing two wheeler company has 15 million satisfied customers, in just 13 years.
The last five million came in just 18 months, soon after ten millionth customer announcement. This extraordinary feat was achieved thanks to Honda's offering in the mass motorcycle segment. The Dream Yuga &
Dream Neo are well accepted in the commuter segment. The Japanese is a leader in automatic scooter, which is proof of excellent product being offered.
HMSI was born on 14 Dec, 1999 and its sole production facility at Manesar began in 2001. However, today it has manufacturing facilities at Manesar, Tapukara in Rajasthan and Narsapura in Karnataka, with the power to achieve a capacity 46 lac units annually by the end of fiscal year 2014.

To meet customer demand and reach out to new markets, Honda has intensified its efforts to rapidly expand its network by adding 500 new touch-points and take its growing network to 2500," expressed, Mr. Y. Honda has been promoting fun, safety and environment in India. The Japanese manufacturer has till date trained 4 lakh plus individuals including, children and women. It has successfully operated Traffic Training parks in parts of Delhi and Jaipur.
Honda has recently announced its association with POGO and will work with Chhota Bheem to promote road safety among kids. HMSI has declared to help South Delhi Municipal Corporation, to educate youth on road safety issues.
