Honda One Make Race Concludes Round 3
Motorsports in India is growing at a steady pace and manufacturers are making a conscious effort of promoting motorcycle racing. Honda across the globe holds a One Make Race for racing enthusiasts.
The Honda One Make Race is currently done with three rounds. This year approximately 68 individuals took part in the third round of 2014. The Japanese manufacturer provides its CBR150R for novice riders, while professional teams use the CBR250R to compete.

The third round of Honda One Make Race was held at Madras Motor race Track under the guidance of MMSC-FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2014. This is the seventh year of the championship in India. The championship provides a great platform for upcoming talents.

Keita Muramatsu, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. expressed, "The overwhelming response by participants and enthusiasts to the Honda One Make Race is vindication of the immense potential that motorsport has in India."

He further added, "With the CBR250R under Team Championship, Honda will continue to promote its global legacy of providing advanced motor-sports experience to expert riders. This year for the first time we introduced the 150cc CBR150R for Novice riders."

In the novice category there were two races of six laps each. In race one the winner was Rajnikant and was closely followed by S. Rajiv and Vimochana Gadasu. Race two saw a new winner Vivian David, while second was S. Rajiv and in third came Shreyas Sannake.
In the professional team races, it was a close fight to the finish. In race one Sumit Loucs Topp of Prolap Racing stood on the top step. In second was A Prabhu of Moto Rev India, while Sarath Kumar onboard the Ten 10 Racing stood third.
Race two was fought with more intensity than race one and was won by Sarath Kumar and Ten 10 Racing. Sumit Loucs Toppo of Prolap Racing settled for second place. R Ramesh Kumar for Moto Rev India finished third and had a lonely race.
