Honda India To Launch CBR300R In November
The CBR250R by Honda has been in India for a while now. However, the Japanese manufacturer has not given it a cosmetic change since its launch. They have only introduced new colours along with a few special editions of their quarter-litre bike.
We expected Honda to showcase their CBR300R at the 2014 Auto Expo which was held in New Delhi. However, they did not showcase the bike and instead presented their CBR650F along with the prototype CX-01.

The CBR250R in international markets has already received a facelift and sports the new dual headlamp design which looks better than the first-gen bike's headlight cluster. Aesthetically it gets very little change and no alterations have been made to the engine.
Honda however, have put their CBR300R on hold for international markets too. We consider this to be a valid reason why the Indian market has not got the 300cc engine. However, now a reliable source says that the Japanese manufacturer will be bringing their CBR300R to India during the festive season.

The CBR300R looks more aggressive and the twin headlight adds more character to it. It sports a larger 286cc, 4-stroke engine that will be capable of producing 27 Nm of peak torque along with 30 bhp. The bike will be lighter than the current-gen CBR250R, owing to the reworked exhaust and chassis. Honda is also expected to make the CBR300R more track focused than the CBR250R.

The CBR300R will face tough competition from the likes of Mahindra Mojo which will have a similar single-cylinder 300cc mill. Customers will have a wide array of bikes to choose from like Yamaha's newly launched YZF-R25 and dare we forget KTM's RC390. We expect the new Honda CBR300R to launch with a price tag of within INR 3,00,000. Get ready to spoiled with a wide variety of power packed bikes coming to India soon.
