Hero MotoCorp Will Showcase 12 Models At 2014 Auto Expo
India's biggest two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is prepping up for the Auto Expo 2014. The Indian company has plans to showcase a minimum of 12 models, which will include hybrids as well as concept. The upcoming auto expo would generate tremendous media attention for both Indian as well as international manufacturers.
In a previous edition of the Auto Expo the Indian bike manufacturer, showcased a concept for its hybrid scooter named 'Leap'. The bike is being developed with assistance of international consultants. The engine of the scooter is being designed to start on petrol and switch over to battery, however when the battery has drained out it will stop powering the engine.
"In the real sense, this will be the first time we will be participating at the Auto Expo with our own technology although we took part in the last expo independently after separation from Honda. Our display this time will give a clear picture of where this company is going, where we are headed. There will be some concepts, even including those which will soon see commercialization, a complete range of bike and scooters," explained Pawan Munjal, CEO and Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp.
