Harley-Davidson Owners Ride Across The Country For Their Daughters
International Girl Child day is celebrated across the world on 11th of October. This was the third occasion to celebrate Girl Child day and Harley-Davidson owner organised a ‘Father-Daughter Ride'. Over 100 H.O.G. members took part in this ride from Capital Harley-Davidson to Vivanta, Taj.
Bikram Puri, Director Capital Harley-Davidson, expressed, "We are very proud to be a part of the Father-Daughter Ride in partnership with The Bindi Project and spread the message of fostering love and respect for our daughters and women in the society."
He further added, "It was great initiative because it involved our daughters who are our lifelines and we really enjoyed riding with them!"
Harley-Davidson partnered with ‘The Bindi Project', for their ‘Father-Daughter Ride'. Their goal was to spread the message of love and respect towards the Girl Child in a family. They want every Indian family to live a healthy life, which is completely devoid of any sort of violence and exploitation.
Sunil Desai, Founder of ‘The Bindi Project', commented, "On the occasion of the third International Day of the Girl Child, I am deeply grateful to Harley Owners Group for holding Father-Daughter rides across India and encouraging fathers to pledge to love and respect their daughters and share their own stories on social media with hashtag #mydaughtermypride."
He also said, "These actions are exactly the kind that I believe will inspire other men and boys to desire such relationships and foster love and respect for all women and girls in India. We welcome and encourage all individuals and communities of all types to join us."
Harley owners of India also signed a pledge to ‘The Bindi Project'. They have promised to love and respect their daughters alike. The riders will support and nurture their daughters equally. We believe all of us showed join this cause to make India a better place for women.
