E-Bough Wooden Electric Bicycle From Netherlands
Netherlands' love for nature is well know. The country has one of the highest number of electric vehicles. The country has also widely adopted renewable energy generation. Hence it is only fitting that the world's first wooden electric bicycle come from Netherlands as well.
Built by a small company called Bough Bikes, lead by entrepreneur Jan Gunnerweg, the e-Bough is unlike any bike we have seen till date. Crafted from oak wood harvested from managed forests in the French Jura, the e-bough is not only a green bike, but it is also aesthetically pleasing.

To make things even better, the e-Bough is powered by a 225W wheel mounted electric motor that's fed from a frame mounted battery pack.
If you are feeling a bit lazy or tired, the electric assist can be turned on, during which the rear hub mounted motor will lend its power for approximately 40 km.

A drained battery will take 8 hours to charge. There's also an instrument panel that displays information such as battery charge status and range, and also allows the rider to select the electric assistance level.
E-bough is available in 26-inch and 28-inch wheel versions and is priced at €2,500 (INR 2,03,332)
