Ducati Superleggera 1199 Every Boys Dream Bike
Ducati is considered the Ferrari of two wheels, both the manufacturers are Italian. They have now developed a lighter, faster version of their 1199 superbike, which they call the 'Superleggera'.
Ducati's 1199 Superleggera boasts of a Superquadro L-twin cylinder, it has four titanium valves per cylinder. It also features the Italian's MotoGP Desmodromic engine, along with titanium con-rods. It will be cooled by liquid.
The Superleggera sports electronic fuel injection from Mitsubishi and gets two injectors per cylinder. The throttle body will be a full ride-by-wire elliptical system. It will have a 6-speed gearbox.
The chassis will be a magnesium monocoque to reduce weight. It will sport a two-into-one-into-two titanium exhaust. To cope with emission standards it will have a catalytic converter along with two lambda probes.
The 1199 Superleggera will sport a 1198cc engine, which will generate in excess of 200 horsepower and produce a peak torque in the range of 134 Nm.
