Discover F150 By Bajaj To Launch In June 2014
Bajaj is in the process of launching new and exciting bikes for the future. They had recently revealed their most powerful Pulsars to date, the Pulsar 400SS and Pulsar 400CS. The fully faired bike from the Indian manufacturer has been doing the rounds of their facility in Pune.
Now there is confirmation that they will be launching a commuter bike in the Discover family in June, 2014. The bike is dubbed as Discover F150, which will be a commuter segment motorcycle and will be a semi-faired vehicle by the Indian manufacturer.

The F150 by Bajaj will sport a 150cc mill along with 4-valve which, is a standard feature in the Discover range of motorcycles. It will feature twin-spark technology and will produce 14 horsepower. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The F150 by Bajaj will sport telescopic front suspension along with a monoshock in the rear. The instrument console will be all digital, it will also feature LED brake lights. It will share the chassis with its younger sibling the Discover 125ST. Disc brakes in the front will be part of standard equipment, while the rear disc will be available as an option.

From the images seen in the source, the F150 looks like the Karizma R by Hero Motocorp. It seems like Bajaj has drawn inspiration for this bike from their highly successful Pulsar 220 sport bike. It has the same alloy wheels that the Discover 125ST rides on.
The F150 will liven up the 150cc segment of motorcycle and should be a welcome addition to the Discover range of motorcycles. It will be interesting to see how the F150 by Bajaj will fare against Yamaha's Fazer and Suzuki's soon to launch Gixxer. We expect the bike to cost roughly Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000 more than the Discover 125ST.
