Bimota Joins WSBK With Iddon
Bimota can begin its campaign in WSBK class after a bad run of testing. No their testing did not go bad, they weather was bad to test the bike. This has made Bimota feel they are behind the WSBK boys who have tested their bikes for an extensive period. This could be a disadvantage for Bimota.
The Bimota BB3 Evo bike will be ridden by Christian Iddon and team mate Ayrton Badovini. Alstare is the main sponsor for Bimota racing division. They have already missed the opening WSBK round at Phillip island in February.

Both Alstare Bimota riders could only achieve a couple of laps as there was heavy rains and ruined their five days of practice sessions.
Iddon explains he won't be pressurising himself a lot as he knows he hasn't had enough time with the bike; however, he promises he will ride to the best of his ability. He also stated he is eager to test his machine against the big boys at WSBK.
Alstare Bimota's current goal is to go out there compete and show their new machines to the fans and supporters.
Both riders admitted not getting enough testing will be a disadvantage. They also stated that they could not try various settings on the bike; however, they admitted the Bimota was very agile and had good feedback.
We wish Alstare Bimota all the best in the coming race at Aragon on 13th of April. It will be great to see how the Bimota fares, we will keep you posted on further details.
