Bajaj Auto Confirm Launch Of A New Pulsar & Discover In 2015
India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer and seller Bajaj Auto has launched several products domestically this year. They have launched new Pulsar and Discover models in 2014. The Indian manufacturer had showcased several new and interesting concept at 2014 Auto Expo.
Bajaj Auto has now confirmed it will be launching two new motorcycles in India. They plan to introduce an all new Discover and Pulsar model in 2015. The Indian manufacturer is also contemplating on reviving their Platina range of motorcycles.
It is our understanding that Bajaj will introduce their Pulsar 200SS and 400SS in 2015. They have already launched their 200NS, which has received a warm welcome. The 400CS is a long time away and a concept was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo.
To compete with Hero MotoCorp and Honda Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto is planning of re-introducing their Platina range. These motorcycles will enable the Indian manufacture to re-join the commuter rich market. It is an attempt at selling high volumes once again.
Currently Bajaj has lost the top spot in India and will be attempting to regain it any cost. They are improving their sales, however, the pace is slow currently. With the launch of new products the manufacturer believes their sales will improve once again.
They plan to launch their quadricycle in India soon, however, a stay order from court has restricted them. Bajaj Auto is the only manufacturer that is currently ready with their RE60 quadricycle. The problem is that other manufacturers won't be ready soon and this won't allow customers a choice.
