Yamaha Sells 35,927 Units In April; Grows By 44.3%

Yamaha Motor India posts 44.3% sales growth in April 2013

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has registered a growth of 44.3% in sales during April 2013 as compared to the corresponding period last year. The company continues to maintain an upward trend in sales on the back of its superb product line-up, the new scooter Ray, which has received stupendous response and innovative on- going marketing activities to enhance customer connect.
The company sold 35,927 units in April 2013 as against 26,944 units sold in April last year in the domestic market thereby registering a domestic sales growth of 33.3%. In the Export markets the company sold 16,865 units in April 2013 as compared to 9,637 units in the same month last year achieving a growth of 75%. The overall sales stood at 52,792 units in April 2013 while 36,581 units were sold in April 2012, thereby registering a 44.3% overall growth.
