TVS Wego, Now With Disc Brakes

TVS Motor Company has announced the 2013 version of its Wego 110cc scooter, which will now be available with an optional front disc brakes. The regular Wego variant costs about Rs 49,157, while the disc brake variant will be about Rs 3000 more at Rs 45,807. (All prices Ex-showroom, New Delhi)

The front disc on the Wego measure 220mm, while the rear still gets the 130mm drum unit. Though India is getting the disc brake variant of the Wego now, it has always been available for the export models.

With the announcement of the disc variant, TVS Wego becomes the second scooter model in India to offer premium features such as telescopic front suspensions and disc brakes, the other being Honda Aviator. However, TVS should have the advantage over Honda as the Aviator costs Rs 56,111 (Ex-showroom, Mumbai)
