Triumph Daytona 250 To Be Made In India Confirmed At EICMA
Perhaps for the first time in EICMA's 71 year long history the show has held so many promises for the Indian motorcycle market. First came the Harley Davidson Street series, then the KTM RC Supersport series, followed by the Honda CBR300R and now its Triumph.
In a development related to the British motorcycle manufacturer starting business in India, Triumph announced during its presentation at EICMA a new small displacement sports bike, a Daytona 250, that will be launching in the near future.

Triumph told the gathering that the said Daytona 250 will be a global product and it will be introduced in 2015. And the most important bit - it will be manufactured in Triumph's facility in India. The only image we have of the bike is this rendering shown by Triumph.
More Exciting News From EICMA 2013
While the news is undoubtedly an exciting one there is absolutely nothing surprising here. Triumph is already testing a Street Triple styled 250cc thumper which is also targeted at India and neighbouring markets. Although Triumph did not speak about the naked 250cc bike it will be the bike that will launch before the Daytona 250. Both bikes will also be sharing the same engine and mechanical components.
Something tells us this is just the start of some big announcements headed our way. Cannot wait till 2015.
