Tata Motors April sales at 51,160 nos.
Key highlights:
· 5% growth, in April 2013, in domestic commercial vehicles sales, compared to April 2012.
· 2% growth in April 2013, in domestic M&HCV sales, compared to April 2012.
· Sales from exports in April 2013, registered a growth of 28%, over April 2013.
Mumbai, May 01, 2013: Tata Motors' total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in April 2013 were 51,160 vehicles. The company's domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for April 2013 were 47,595 nos.
Commercial Vehicles
The company's sales of commercial vehicles in April 2013 in the domestic market were 36,025 nos., LCV sales were 26,023 nos., while M&HCV sales stood at 10,002 nos.
Passenger Vehicles
Sales of passenger vehicles for April 2013 were at 11,570 nos. Sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range in April 2013 were 8,918 nos. The Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range sales were 2,652 nos.
Exports
The company's sales from exports were 3,565 vehicles in April 2013.
