Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Concept
Suzuki unveiled the V-Strom 1000 concept touring bike at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. The V-Strom 1000 concept takes its design inspiration from the 1988 DR750S, the company's first adventure tourer. However, other than the basic design similarity the V-Strom 1000 is a completely new bike.
Not a lot is known about the V-Strom Concept, with Suzuki deciding to withhold details until its time to bring the bike into production, which will most likely be in 2014. Check out the gallery below to learn more about Suzuki's new ‘Strom'.

Evident from the name is the type of engine the bike uses - a 1000cc, liquid cooled, V-Twin unit, but knowledge about the bike's power plant ends there.

The bikes comes with traction control for better control on all kinds of terrain, which will prove very useful for an adventure tourer such as the V-Strom. ABS further adds to the bike's stability and control.

Another important feature is the lightweight construction of the aluminium frame, which will give it better balance along with strength.

Suspension system includes inverted front forks and mono shock at the rear. While, both units are adjustable, exact details regarding the same is not known yet.

Touring related features include height adjustable windshield, wide and comfortable seats for long distance travel and the new luggage system that integrates well with the bike's overall design.
