Suzuki GW250S India Launch Expected In 2013
Suzuki GW250S, a semi faired version of the GW250, was launched at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. According to some reports, the new GW250S will be launched in India as early as June, with a price tag of INR 1.8 lakhs.
The new Suzuki GW250S, which is also known as Inazuma, is marketed as a touring/commuter bike. To make the new GW250S more touring friendly Suzuki has worked on several design features. Never-the-less, if we are to go just by the design the Suzuki GW250S does not seem like a product that will appeal to the Indian buyer.
The new Suzuki GW250S gets functional styling changes in the form of a larger windshield and a torque curve better suited for long highway rides.
The handlebar on the new GW250S has also been slightly raised for better comfort during long journeys.
The reason behind the semi fairing - exposed engine and fuel tank - is so that the rider feels the heat from the engine and realises when the engine is overheating.
Suzuki GW250S is powered by a twin cylinder 248cc, liquid cooled engine, rated at 26 BHP and 24.2 Nm of torque.
