Prince William Meets Ducati At Motorcycle Live
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, paid a special visit on Saturday, 30 November to the Ducati stands at the Motorcycle Live event. The event was held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England.
Managing Director of Ducati UK Ltd. Tim Maccabee, played host to his Royal visitors. The Duke was shown the new features of the new monster 1200.
The Ducati Diavel impressed the Duke to such extent, that he indulged in a conversation with British Superbike Champion, Shane Byrne.

Prince William seized this opportunity to have a look at the limited edition 1199 Superleggera, of which only 500 would be available. The Superleggera is considered a must-own for a Ducati purist.
The Superleggera boasts of components made of carbon fibre, titanium and magnesium. The Superleggera enters history books by having one of the highest power to weight ratio for any production bike present.

The Duke concluded his visit by going through the Ducati TriOptions Cup Series in which the 899 Panigale model would be competing, which was announced for 2014 as a support race in the British Superbike Championship.
