Mahindra Mojo Will Be Launched 'Very Soon'
Mr Popli added that the Mahindra was conducting some final tests of the Mojo before an official launch. The Mahindra Mojo was expected to be launched as early as January last year during the Delhi Auto Expo.
The Mahindra Mojo is one of the most awaited performance bike in India. The Mojo had created a buzz when it was first unveiled as a concept and motorcycle lovers have been waiting for the Mojo's launch. One of the reason behind the the anticipation about the Mojo is that it is the first performance motorcycle to developed completely in India.
The Mahindra Mojo's 299cc engine has been developed at the company's new R&D facility in Pune, set up with an INR 100 crore investment. The same facility has developed Mahindra's new bikes - the Pantero and Centuro which were launched recently.
Mahindra is planning to launch more two wheelers along with the Mojo. It is planning to add new variants to its existing scooter models and new scooters are up for launch too. Mahindra is closely looking at the export market for its two wheelers. It is already exporting its scooters to several countries and is planning to export its new motorcycles too.
