KTM RC 125, 200 & 390 Faired Sports Bikes Headed To EICMA
News about the launch of fully faired variants of KTM's small displacement Duke range of naked bikes have been floating around the internet since early this year. KTM even revealed the race spec ADAC Junior Cup RC390, based on the 390 Duke back in July.
VisorDown is now reporting that at the Milan two wheeler expo or EICMA, which starts on November 5, KTM will reveal not one, but three fully faired sports bikes - RC125, RC200 & RC390 - which will be based on the 125 Duke, 200 Duke and 390 Duke respectively.

As with all KTM launches, the reveal is done a year ahead, meaning the production version of these bikes will hit the road in 2014. Like with the Duke lineup, the RC 125, 200 & 390 sports bikes will be manufactured by Bajaj at its Pune plant, for domestic & international markets.

The RC range will be similar to their equivalent Duke naked bike versions on several aspects. Such as, they will sport the same engines, frame, brakes, swingarm and front suspensions. The few changes that will appear will come in the form of a differently styled fuel tank, seats, clip-on handlebars instead of clubman and of course, the fairings.

The RCs will weight about the same as their respective Duke variants and will generate similar engine outputs.

In other KTM news, rumor has it that the company is working on bringing out Adventure versions of the small displacement Dukes as well. These will share a few parts with the Duke range, but will be touring bikes, with specifics such as larger fuel tanks, upright riding position, suspensions that are suitable for light off-roading and cruising etc,.
