KTM Duke 390 Reportedly Gets Recalled
It is being reported that KTM has issued unpublicized recalls for its recently launched Duke 390 motorcycles. The bike was launched only a few months back and deliveries have only just begun. This means there are only a handful of bikes that are currently plying Indian roads. Perhaps one of the reasons why its not been made public.
A Team-BHP member from Bangalore, who was amongst the first in the country to get his hands on the Duke 390, has informed, his bike was recalled by a local dealer. "Got a call from Popular KTM, Mekhri Circle where I picked up the 390. Apparently, they want to replace some parts for 'enhanced performance'".

The parts that will be replaced include the fan Assembly and rotor parts. The former refers to the bike engine cooling system, which reportedly has problems relating to overheating during heavy traffic conditions. The rotor parts is presumably related to the braking system.
Naturally, parts changes will be made free of cost and it reportedly takes 2-3 hours to be replaced.
KTM Duke 390 is a single cylinder 43 HP, 35 Nm torque 373cc engine powered naked bike. Manufactured from scratch at Bajaj's Chakan plant, it is the most powerful locally manufactured bike in the country. Bajaj also exports the Indian made Duke 390 across the world.
