India Bike Week 2014 Dates Announced
Dates for the second edition of India's largest biker festival, India Bike Week 2014 have been announced. The event organised by Seventy Event Media Group and FOX Traveller will take place in Goa on January 17 and 18 in 2014. The mega event is expected to attract over 10,000 people from all over the country and from outside of it.
India Bike Week has been modelled after the annual ‘Sturgis Motorcycle rally' in South Dakota, U.S.A, one of the largest gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts in the world. In a similar fashion, its Indian counterpart will play host to thousands of bikers and their bikes - Café Racers to Scramblers, Cruisers to Superbikes to every other variety there is, celebrating the biking culture.
The 2012 edition of the festival was attended by 6,547 enthusiasts, along with over 3,000 bikes, including a considerable number of women riders.
With 3 concert stages, 28 live bands and DJs, 5 bars, 16 cage fighters entertainment was never at a shortage. This year promises to be an even grander event.
A biker festival cannot be complete without a biker build off and India Bike Week features one. The crowd was also wowed by international stunt specialist Mattie Griffin at last year's event.
Another attraction at the event would be the dozens of custom and exotic and bikes, some of which one might get to see only once in a lifetime. Such as the Y2K Turbine engined bike that featured in last year's event.
Last but not the least, the two day festival will play host to new bike launches, products and accessories. There will even be a biker flea market for enthusiasts.

Ticket price for India Bike Week 2014 is Rs. 3,000. A discount of 10% is applicable till October 31. The first 1500 buyers also get IBW t-shirts. Tickets are available on in.bookmyshow.com and Harley Davidson showrooms across the country.
