Make Way For Hyosung GV650 Aquila
Back in the days the Hyosung Aquila was an affordable cruiser in our country. The Hyosung Aquila was initially sold via Kinetic in India. The relationship between Hyosung and Kinetic did not bring forward great results. We have received reports that Hyosung is now planning to re-launch the Aquila brand in India. The Aquila now will be offered in a 650cc form and it is being discussed that it would carry the Aquila GV650 label.
Hyosung currently offers the ST7 cruiser in India. The ST7 cruiser has a classic styling. The GV650 on the other hand is considered to be a more sportier cruiser. On the technical sheet, the GV650 comes equipped with a 647cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 90-degree V-Twin engine.
The engine on this cruiser is capable of churning out 70.2 bhp and 6.2 kgm of torque. Some of the other interesting features come in the form of a digital display, rear disc, light-weight alloy wheels and an adjustable 43mm upside-down fork.
The styling of the Aquila is definitely inspired by the Harley-Davidson V-Rod. The big question is the price tag? Drivespark expects Hyosung to price the GV650 at around INR 5.5 lakhs. Stay tuned as we bring you all the updates from Hyosung's garage.
