Honda Dream Yuga With HET Technology Launched

Honda Dream Yuga commuter bike is now available with the company's fuel saving HET technology. The Dream Yuga HET will deliver an estimated mileage of 74 kmpl, which is 2 kmpl more than before. Price of the bike post HET remains the same as before, at Rs 45,101.

HET, which stands for Honda Eco Technology, is more of a set of engine improvements and refinements rather than a new single piece of technology. First introduced in Honda's scooter lineup - Activa, Dio, Activa i and Aviator - inclusion of HET means a more refined engine, reduced friction in engine components and use of lighter engine parts. All the improvements combined increase the fuel economy and is also said to ever so slightly improve the ride quality.

Honda Dream Yuga is powered by a 110cc, four stroke engine, mated to a four speed gearbox. Dream Yuga still delivers 8.5 Bhp and 9 Nm of peak torque, which is not affected by HET.

With a starting price of Rs 45,101, Honda Dream Yuga is sold in three variants - kick start/spoked wheels, kickstart/alloy wheels and self start/alloy wheels. Disc brakes are not available with the Dream Yuga.
