Fastrack Helmets For Motorcycles Hits Stores - Price & Variants
Fastrack, the lifestyle brand owned by Titan Industries has spread out from just selling trendy wristwatches, sunglases and other related lifestyle accessories to selling motorcycle helmets.
Earlier this year Titan had announced its plan to get into the motorcycle helmet business in India, but it hadn't informed it would be doing so under its Fastrack brand.
Fastrack is offering helmets of all varieties, ranging from full face, to half face to motocross style ones. All in all, 24 different styles are on offer, ranging in price from Rs 1,495 to Rs 3,495.
As previously announced by Titan, the company does not manufacture its own products. Instead, it has tied up with Italian company, AGV, one of the world's leading motorcycle accessory manufacturer. AGV has a manufacturing facility in Gujarat which caters to local and international markets.
Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director, Titan Company Limited said, "India has one of the highest number of two-wheelers in the world. With unorganised players currently driving the helmet business, the category has a large potential in the market".
Ronnie Talati, Vice President & CMO - Watches & Accessories Division, Titan Company Ltd said, "With an assortment of styles and colors to choose from, young bikers can wear trendy helmets without sacrificing safety or function."
