Eric Buell Set To Launch 3 New Motorcycles
Eric Buell Racing, the American sports bike brand and the technology partner of leading Indian motorcycle firm Hero MotoCorp is preparing to launch three new motorcycles. Eric Buell Racing has been developing the motorcycles based on its 1125cc v-twin engine.
The new bikes will also be the first products to be launched by EBR (Eric Buell Racing) after the company inked a technology sharing agreement with Hero MotoCorp. Hero has sent some of its product engineers to the US to work along with EBR.

It is highly unlikely that they are involved in the development of the new motorcycles but they will surely gain experience to develop sporty motorcycles for Hero. Hero has already stated that it is working on a new 250cc motorcycle for India and we are sure EBR's technology will play a role in the new bike.
Coming back the the 3 new motorcycles from EBR, the company has posted teaser images of three bikes named only as RX, SX and AX. The three bikes are said to be low cost sport bikes priced under $20,000 (Approximately above Rs.10 lakhs).Such a price will bring the EBR bikes closer to the bikes sold by Harley Davidson in India.
Reports say Eric Buell Racing will be launching its new bikes in 2014. The company is also planning to expand its dealer network in the US before launching its new products. Hero MotoCorp has not specified how much it has invested in the American sports bike company, but it appears that the investment is helping EBR. Now we have wait and see how EBR's involvement with Hero will help the Indian company.
