EFI, A Custom Royal Enfield Bullet Electra By OEM
This custom built Royal Enfield Bullet Electra is the work of UK based Old Empire Motorcycles. This is OEM's first commissioned motorcycle assignment, in which it has managed to turn the Bullet Electra into a proper bobber style motorcycle.
The custom build has been named EFI and is inspired by the works of India's Rajputana Customs, something which the customer specified. Check out the large image gallery below showcasing the Alec Sharp led OEM's EFI custom.

The EFI is a customised 2009 model Royal Enfield Bullet Electra.

The person who commissioned the bike wanted the bike to wear a bobber look, with a ‘chunky' design.

OEM has replaced the 19 inch originals with 16 inch wheels, which are fitted with thick Avon Safety Mileage Mk II tyres.

For the low slung look, Hagon shocks were used, while the front end gets chunky USD forks.

The original swingarms are replaced with custom double-tubed swing arms, but they are the same length as the original.

Since the Bullet Electra comes with carburettor fuel supply system, it has been given an upgrade with a Hitchcock Motorcycles Amal MK1 Concentric carb kit. The kit consists also consists of a new filter, ignition box, magneto flywheel and extractor.

EFI is also fitted with custom chromed pipes with internal baffles.

The tank comes from a Harley Sportster, which has been scalloped and fitted with twin pop-up fillers. The rear of the bike is also modified to fit the custom seat.

Other changes come in the form of clip-ons at the front, with custom microswitches, reworked internal wiring, with the electronics hidden inside a dummy fuel reservoir and custom fittings to enable front riding position, as requested by the customer.
