BMW Limited Build Cruise Electric Two Wheeler
This is not the first time BMW has produced an electric bicycle, but Cruise seems to be more advanced than anything else the Bavarian automaker has come out with before. Not many details about BMW Cruise have been revealed yet and we know that it will only be made available in its home country, with a limited run of 1000 units.
BMW Cruise bicycle/moped is equipped with a 250W motor from Bosch that powers the rear wheel and it is powered by a lithium ion battery of unknown rating. At this point all BMW says is that Cruise is capable of reaching 25 km/h (15 mph), with a range of 80 km (~50 miles). Finally, about that "advanced" part we mentioned. BMW Cruise is the first of its kind to offer driving modes - Eco, Tour, Sport or Speed/Turbo. Go through the images in the gallery below.
