Bajaj Pulsar: Two New Models Launching Soon

Bajaj has said more than once that it plans to launch several Discover commuter bike models and a couple of new sports bikes under the Pulsar brand. More confirmation about the same has come once again from Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Auto, at its annual shareholders' meeting.

"Pulsar is number one sports bike in its category in India and we will launch two super sports bikes under this brand by the middle of this financial year," he said. This would mean the launch of two new Pulsar models is only a couple of months away. He also added that both bikes would be faster than any other bikes in their segment.

The launch of the fully faired Pulsar 390 is confirmed and we even know how it will most likely look, thanks to a few leaked images. Details about the other new Pulsar, on the other hand, is almost close to nil. Earlier, it was revealed that one of the new Pulsars will be a sub-Pulsar 200NS model.

So, what would we be looking at? A fully faired Pulsar 220cc facelift perhaps or a fully faired 180cc bike? The answers to these question will only be answered when the new models will actually be launched. Or we might get our hands on spyshots, if we are lucky.

Apart from the new Pulsars, Bajaj reiterated their plans to flood the market with several new Discover commuter bike models in the coming months.
