Bajaj Discover 100T Launched At INR 50k
Bajaj Auto has launched the new Discover 100T commuter motorcycle today, priced at INR 50,550. The country's second largest two wheeler manufacturer has expanded its Discover line of motorcycles by launching what it calls the world's most advanced 100cc motorcycle.
The new Bajaj Discover 100T was unveiled by MD Mr.Rajiv Bajaj and President - Motorcyles Mr K Srinivas. Mr Srinivas while speaking about the new bike said: "The steady growth of the more expensive 100 cc bikes at the cost of the cheaper models is a clear evidence of this. The Discover 100T delivers power of 125 cc motorcycle and mileage of a 100 cc."

The new motorcycle is powered by Bajaj's 4-valve DTS-I engine that delivers a peak power of 10.2PS. Bajaj has claimed the Discover 100T's mileage is 87kmpl under standard test conditions. This combination of power and mileage is definitely attractive.

Bajaj has substantiated its claim of the Discover 100T being the most advanced 100cc motorcycle in the world by adding a five speed gear box. No 100cc bike so far has had a five speed gearbox. The gearbox can be credited with keeping the Discover 100T's mileage high.

Further, the Bajaj Discover 100T is also the most expensive bike in the commuter motorcycle segment. Bajaj Auto has justified this by adding several premium features such as nitrox shock absorbers, double cradle chassis and electric start.

As you would notice from the image, the Discover 100 T's design is evidently that of the Discover 125. Some of the attractive features of the bike are the 10-spoke alloy wheels, aggressive front look, muscular fuel tank and dual tone body graphics.
To sum it up the new Discover will pose some serious competition to the likes of the Hero Passion, Honda Dream Yuga and the TVS Sport.
The new Bajaj Discover 100T will be available in four colour options. They are: Flame Red, Brilliant Blue, Black Red and Black Blue.
