MV Agusta F3 800 Revealed

The Italy based boutique sports bike makes MV Agusta has revealed the 2014 F3 800 model. The new MV Agusta F3 800 is powered by the same engine that features in the MV Agusta Brutale 800 and the yet to be launched MV Agusta Rivale. The F3 800 will fill in the gap between the larger F4 and F3 675.

Powered by the 798cc 3 cylinder engine the MV Agusta F3 800 is said to deliver a power output of 146 HP at 13,500 rpm and a peak torque of 64.9 lb-ft at 10,600 rpm. Redline is now reached at 13,500 rpm. According to MV Agusta, the F3 800 weighs 173 kg with its tanks empty, which is exactly the same as F3 675. This means a much better power to weight ratio of 1.17 kg/HP. The claimed top speed for the MV Agusta F3 800 is 269 km/h.

F3 800 gets fully adjustable rear Sachs mono shocks and inverted front forks from Marzocchi. Meanwhile, the monobloc four piston brake calipers come from Brembo as usual. MV Agusta's Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS) electronics package makes it to the F3 800 of course. The feature includes ride-by-wire throttle, four engine map settings - three factory presets and a user customizable fourth - and an eight-level traction control system that is selected using the handle bar control.

MV Agusta F3 800 is offered in pearl white/black, red/silver and matte metallic black colours. and is priced at 13,990 euros. Unlike its Italian cousin Ducati, MV Agusta is currently not officially offered in India. The brand was expected to enter India last year, but that never came to realization. But our hopes are high. Meanwhile enjoy the images below.
