2014 Karizma R, Karizma ZMR Power Specifications Revealed
Hero MotoCorp revealed the next generation Karizma R and Karizma ZMR first in Macau, which was followed by a press reveal in India on October 10th. The new Karizma motorcycles have been developed with some technological aid from Hero's new American partner Erik Buell racing. This has enabled the Indian bike maker to extract more power out of the Karizma engines.

The power figures of the 2014 Karizma R and ZMR models, though not official, have now surfaced online.

Meanwhile, the flagship Karizma ZMR is also powered with the same 223cc engine. However, thanks to fuel injection and perhaps due to a higher tuned state the engine generates 20 PS power and 19.7 Nm torque. The 0-60 km/h time is once again 3.6 seconds.
The new Karizma models, along with a more than a dozen other refreshed Hero two wheelers will be launched only in 2014. The new Karizma motorcycles come with vertically mounted twin LED headlights, similar to those found in EBR 1190RS & 1190RX. The bikes also come new fairings, headlamp cowls and touring style windshield. Unfortunately, the new Karizma models still miss center mounted monoshocks.
