Aprilia Caponord 1200 Touring Bike Comes To India
Aprilia, another motorcycle brand owned by the Italian Piaggio, has introduced the 2013 Caponord 1200 sport touring motorcycle in India. The new Caponord 1200 was unveiled at the ECMIA in Milan, Italy late last year.
The 2013 Caponord 1200 comes packed with exclusive technology such as the Aprilia Dynamic Damping (ADD) semi-active suspension system. Bookings have begun, with an expected delivery date of 8 to 10 weeks. Further details about the touring bike can be found in the gallery below.

The engine in the Caponord 1200 is a twin cylinder 90 degree V, 1,200cc unit with a peak power of 125 HP.

Power delivery is via a 6 speed transmission, which uses hydraulically operated wet multiplate clutch. Riding modes include Sport, Touring and Rain.

The Caponord 1200 comes packed with electronic aids for a more controlled and comfortable ride. These include two channel ABS, APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), the previously mentioned ADD (Aprilia Dynamic Damping system), ATC (Aprilia Traction Control) and cruise control.

The ADD suspension system offers different electronically controlled suspension settings (rider only, rider and passenger, rider only with panniers, rider with passenger and panniers)

2013 Aprilia Caponord 1200 is priced at INR 14.95 lakhs for the base variant and INR 16.7 lakhs for the Travel Pack variant. Available colours include White and Black.
