Yamaha All Out In The Scooter Segment

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturing giant, recently launched the Ray scooter in India. Yamaha has made its intentions clear. The company is looking at a market share of 20% by 2016. Manufacturers such as Honda, Suzuki, Mahindra have been dominating this segment with their Scooters.

The message is all out clear from Yamaha. Their one and only Scooter currently available now from their stable is targeted at young urban women. The company has also developed a riding training program for female customers and is working on expanding its dealer network.

Yamaha is working on specially improving customer care quality for female customers by appointing more female staffs at customer contact points and introducing female customer care programs.
