User Review: My Dream Bike Is Always Thunderbird
The Thunderbird is a bike that has been loved and adored by bike lovers across India. It is powered by a 350cc single cylinder engine capable of generating 20bhp and 28Nm of torque. Such power along with the comfortable riding position has made it the preferred cruise bike in India.
Mr Prashanth has been an avid bike lover and the Thunderbird is his first bike. Speaking about his new bike, he said the Royal Enfield Thunderbird has been my dream bike and I am very happy to have got it as my first bike. The fact that the bike was delivered to me on Valentine's day has made the experience even more special.
The proud owner of this Silver Thunderbird was actually considering to buy a Maruti Suzuki Alto before deciding to buy the motorcycle. When asked, what prompted the change in his decision, Mr Prashanth said: “The Thunderbird is a very comfortable bike to ride and when you have a choice between your car and your dream bike, I chose the latter."
When we asked him how he would like to enjoy his new Thunderbird, Mr Prahanth said he intends to go on long drives. He loves the fact that his bike looks so huge and yet feels light enough to handle.
Mr Prashanth Wilson Dsouza has paid Rs.1.30 lakhs for his Thunderbird. This price could be slightly higher than the on road price as Mr Prashanth could have added some additional accessories. Mind you, Royal Enfield motorcycles are modified as per the requirements of the buyers. Showrooms currently offer a number of factory approved accessories.
The Thunderbird is a much in demand motorcycle and the waiting period clearly shows that. Prashanth's only complaint against the Thunderbird has been its long waiting period. Further he has added that it took a long time to process his loan despite the process being quite simple.
