Piaggio Set To Launch Fly Scooter In India
Piaggio is planning to go big on its plans in India after tasting success with the Vespa 125 LX premium lifestyle scooter. Reports say the company is now planning to launch a new scooter which is aimed at the volume market with a price tag lesser than the Vespa LX 125.
Expected to be named as the Piaggio Fly or Piaggio Flyer, this new scooter could be priced close to Rs.55,000. Such a price tag will mean Piaggio will take on all major players in the Indian scooter segment. The Piaggio Fly will have the same 125cc engine as in the LX 125. The design is more modern and does not mimic the Vespa's classic looks.

Piaggio Fly 125
The Fly will be Piaggio's second scooter in India. It will join the already successful Vespa LX 125. The Fly will be a unisex scooter aimed at both men and women.
Piaggio Fly Price
Piaggio is expected to price the Fly 125 between Rs.50,000 and Rs.55,000 making the scooter more affordable to consumers. Such pricing will help Piaggio take on established brands such as Honda, TVS and Hero.

The Piaggio Fly looks hot in this red shade. The design is more contemporary and will sure attract both men and women.
Piaggio Fly In White
The Piaggio Fly will get disk brakes in the front and drums on the rear. The sleek design and light body weight will mean the Fly can literally fly through traffic and that might be the reason for the disk brakes.
Piaggio Fly – Colours
The Piaggio Fly will be available in Blue, Red, Black and White. There might be more colour options once it is launched.
