New Bajaj Discover 125 ST: Features, Specification

Bajaj unveiled a completely refreshed Discover motor bike which is expected to hit the showrooms by June end. The new Discover 125 ST gets many new features including the TS-Twin Spark technology which is a first of its kind in its segment.

Bajaj claims that the new Discover packs best in class power, 13 PS in the 125cc segment, at the time maintaining high fuel efficiency. The bike features sporty styling with a well defined muscular fuel tank, sharp edged headlamp and alloy wheels.

The new Discover also features a mono-shock suspension for enhanced comfort, an anti-vibration frame for ride comfort and petal disc brake for enhanced safety. The bike is powered by a 4 valve twin spark air cooled 124.6cc engine that churns out a max power of 13 Ps @ 9000 rpm and max torque of 1.1 kgm @ 7000 rpm.

The engine which boasts a CV type carburettor is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The new Discover 125 ST comes with both self and kick start option.

The specifications also include digital CDI ignition system, semi double cradle frame, nitrox mono-shock rear suspension, front disc break and a 10 litre fuel tank. The new Discover has 124.5 kg kerb weight, 1305 mm wheel base and 170 mm ground clearance.
